Subject: Chain snatching incidents against women

Dear Sir

Through the column of your esteemed newspaper, I want to draw the attention of the concerned authorities to the problem of chain-snatching incidents against women at present in New Delhi. 

Being a resident, I'm worried about the recent increase in chain-snatching incidents in our city. It's very sad that women are becoming victims of these crimes more often. It's not okay that women can't feel safe when walking around, especially during the day. Chain-snatching is a terrible crime that causes physical and emotional harm.

It's the job of the police to keep us safe, but they're not doing enough to stop these crimes. They need to patrol the affected areas more often, have more police around, and put cameras in the right places to scare off criminals.

The government also needs to help by teaching people how to be safe. Women should travel together, not wear expensive jewelry, and keep their phones close by in case they need help.

I hope the police and the government will do more to protect us and stop these criminals. Our safety should be their main priority.
