Q. Imagine you are Mahesh Kumar from New Delhi. You observe the carelessness of drivers on city roads which causes a threat to the lives of others. You have already registered your complaints to the concerned authorities but they paid no heed to it. So write a letter to the Editor of The Times of India to raise the issue through his newspaper. Ans- 20-C Block Avika Nagar New Delhi 15 June 20XX The Editor The Times of India New Delhi Dear Sir Subject: reckless driving on city roads I am writing to express my concern about reckless driving through your esteemed newspaper and want to draw the attention of the concerned authorities. Reckless driving seems to have become a common occurrence on our roads. Every day, I witness drivers ignoring traffic rules, speeding, and endangering the lives of themselves and others. It is distressing to see how many people have become complacent about the dangers of reckless driving. Many drivers seem to believe that the rules of the road do not apply to them, and that they can do as they please without consequence. This kind of behavior not only puts their own lives at risk, but also endangers the lives of other drivers, pedestrians, and cyclists. I urge the authorities to take action against reckless driving by imposing stricter penalties and increasing enforcement. The police should be given more resources to patrol the roads and catch those who break the law. It is time for all of us to take responsibility for our actions on the road. We must all remember that reckless driving is not only illegal but also potentially deadly. Thank you Yours truly Mahesh Kumar A concerned citizen
