| Azad Nagar, Jaipur,20 July 20XX: A daylight daring burglary took place yesterday in Azad Nagar jewellery shop, M.L. Jewellers. The burglars ran away with goods and jewellery worth 7 lakhs. According to onlookers and the manager of the shop, a couple entered the shop at 12 P.M. and requested some gold necklaces to be shown. The lady kept asking for more pieces to be shown when suddenly the man accompanying her pulled out a revolver. The stunned salesman, a few buyers and the manager watched helplessly as the lady ran off with what she could lay her hands on. The man then vanished before an alarm could be raised. The police arrived half an hour later and are still making an enquiry. The CCTV footage has been under investigation. The description of two burglars has been recorded and the police are hopeful of nabbing/ arresting the culprits soon. |
