Subject:- No Street Lights, a request for Action.
Dear sir
Through the column of your esteemed newspaper I want to draw the attention of concerned authorities towards a serious issue that has been bothering the residents of our colony for quite some time now. The main road of our colony, which is used by a large number of people every day, has no street lights. This darkness poses a significant risk to the safety of both drivers and pedestrians, especially during the night.
As the sun sets, darkness prevails on the roads. It becomes difficult for drivers to see the way ahead. The absence of street lights creates a dangerous situation. The drivers are unable to spot pedestrians, animals, or other vehicles on the road. Furthermore, it also becomes convenient for criminals to carry out their bad purposes.
In such a situation, accidents are liable to happen, and it is only a matter of time before someone gets hurt. This issue needs to be addressed urgently, and we request the concerned authorities to take immediate action. They should install street lights along the main road of our colony as soon as possible. It is the government's responsibility to ensure the safety of its citizens, and we urge them to take this matter seriously.
We hope that you will publish this letter in your esteemed newspaper, so that it may reach the authorities concerned, and appropriate action can be taken.
Thank you
Yours truly
Abhijeet Singh
A concerned citizen
